The first President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, in his Address «Strategy of Kazakhstan-2050» New Political Course of the Established State» set the task of Kazakhstan joining the top 30 most developed countries in the world by 2050. This implies an increase in the efficiency and scale of activities of the «Samruk-Kazyna» Fund and its portfolio companies. Therefore, the Fund has developed and is implementing the Transformation Program. One of the key goals of the program is to fundamentally increase the efficiency of use of labor, tangible and intangible resources.
«NC «KTZ» JSC was one of the first among the portfolio companies of the «Samruk-Kazyna» Fund JSC that launched Business transformation program in 2014. In general, transformation is deep, systematic and sequential change aimed at improving efficiency, competitiveness and profitability. Fundamental changes are required, in order for the work to be effective,. And this was clearly understood in KTZ, when the process of business transformation has commenced. This is a strategic project.
The implementation of the updated program «Digital Transformation» will allow «NC «KTZ» JSC to reach a new level of development. The program covered entire key business areas of the company, including main branches and subsidiaries.
Increasing the cost of «NC «KTZ» JSC and the implementation of fundamental changes by increasing the economic efficiency of services provided, improving business processes, digitalization and automation of activities, improving the professionalism of employees, in order to achieve the following goals set in the Development Strategy of «NC «KTZ» JSC until 2029, approved by the decision of the Board of Directors of «NC «KTZ» JSC dated September 6, 2019, (Minutes No. 13):
1) withdrawal of the Company from the area of financial risk and ensuring financial stability
2) increasing the efficiency of the Company;
3) increasing customer satisfaction;
4) guaranteeing the safety of train traffic;
5) ensuring sustainable development.
To increase financial efficiency and create sustainable changes, it is necessary to implement 6 initiatives:
1) Occupational Security;
2) Human transformation;
5) Costs optimization through reengineering of processes;
